The Midterms: A DC Insider Special
Date: Wednesday 28 October | Location: Online Webinar | Time: 14:00 – 15:00 (UTC+1)
Ahead of the November 3 midterm elections which will see all 435 members of the House and 35 members of the Senate seats up for grabs, we will be joined by the Washington Examiner’s White House reporter, Naomi Lim, and Eric Garcia, a stalwart of Capitol Hill who has covered Congress for The Hill, the Washington Post, Roll Call and most recently as the DC bureau chief for The Independent.
In the final week of campaigning, we will be looking at the latest polls, the most hotly contested races and issues that are swaying voters in what will be the final major referendum on the Trump presidency. We will consider likely outcomes, their effect on Trump’s ability to govern and pursue what remains of his agenda and hear first-hand what it has been like covering Trump’s second term from two of DC’s best placed insiders.
